Smith & Loveless Debuts Advanced Treatment Tech at WEFTEC
During WEFTEC 2026, Smith & Loveless showcased a range of new wastewater treatment and pumping technologies, including advanced grit removal systems and membrane bioreactors designed to improve plant efficiency.
The technology demonstrations included the PISTA INVORSOR grit removal system, capable of removing 95% of grit particles down to 75 microns, and the new TITAN MEM-BOX packaged membrane system. These tools are engineered to help utilities address stringent discharge requirements and capacity limitations. The company also introduced new touchscreen control systems and solar-powered backup options for pump stations. These releases reflect a broader industry focus on integrating automation, energy efficiency, and high-performance mechanical equipment into municipal wastewater infrastructure projects.
