Jet Aerators
Combine a pumped liquid jet with injected air to achieve high oxygen transfer in a compact footprint.
Jet aerators pump mixed liquor through a nozzle, entraining injected air into a high-velocity jet that promotes rapid oxygen dissolution.
Effective in deep basins where diffuser maintenance access is difficult, since the pump and nozzle assembly can often be serviced without draining the tank.
Watch for: nozzle wear affecting spray pattern and pump cavitation from suction-side blockage reducing jet velocity.
