Wastewater Treatment Supervisor

Summary

Supervises the operation, maintenance, and repair of the County's Grade 4 wastewater treatment facilities. This position provides advanced technical oversight to ensure regulatory compliance and high service levels for a large retail and wholesale customer base.

Wastewater Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise the daily work of wastewater treatment facility staff. - Oversee the activities of outside contractors working on treatment infrastructure. - Monitor budgets, inventory control, and administrative reporting. - Establish and implement safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

- North Carolina Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Operator certification. - Extensive experience in wastewater plant operations and supervision. - Valid driver's license. - Knowledge of local, state, and federal wastewater discharge regulations.
